blind.

I feel like sharing this story in my blog.

Lets name these 2 piano tuners A and B.

A's background :
-He has a car
-Has hands and legs and any other body parts. Just like a human.
- He requests for a cup of coffee.
- He uses customer's Astro to check shares.
-He wasnt a very good piano tuner.

B's background :
- He doesnt have a car.
- Just like every normal human, but sadly, he is blind.
- He doesnt request much.
- Honest and at least he the fact of his disability did not bring his life down.

As u guys can see, A is better in shape person but having such character certainly bring the rating stars of his down.
But B, despite his disabilities, I would actually pay more to a B than A.
Not the fact and I have the pity-this-blind-man in mind,
I seriously salute him for who he are and what he is doing.
Firstly, he is risking his life. I mean, since u can't see anything, entering stranger's/ new customer's home is surely what u are afraid about.
Another thing is, at least he doesnt have such kind of thinking that, "OMG. I'm blind. I cant see. I cant do things that I want. Im doomed" therefore ending up jobless or probably sitting at the street holding an empty cup asking for money.

*fyi ; B isnt born as a blind man.

Its the same thinking when u want to go for a massage.
would u rather pay less for a China girl who rants about her whole life massaging instead of marrying a rich man or a place where the blinds offers massaging service at a slightly higher rate?
I bet most of the people would actually choose the China girl. Since its cheaper and who cares if u are blind, right? At least I get a hot girl and I pay for the service, I want things to be best and perfect !

Try thinking another perspective, if u would have used the blinds' service,
u are not only making their life meaningful,
also making them feel appreciated and even.
Make this as the win win situation,
u happy, they happy, everyone is happy.
and of course, everyone should be treated equally fair, right ?

Cutting the crap,
A friend of mine actually told me this story about B.
As I mention, he wasnt born with such disability.
He isnt that young either.
It happened when he was a young man,
If not mistaken, he joined in an army.
I think he got blind because of the wrong method of handling weapon.
So, one day, someone actually offered to bring him to a trainning,
a piano tuning trainning.
That is when he actualy so called discovered his talent.
He began to tune pianos.

Then, he got married.

Until now, he is relying with his pair of ears and hands to tune pianos.
All he need to do to reach customers is to either get someone to fetch or get a taxi.
And there, work time.

I was actually thinking, if he hadn't got blind,
I dont think he would actually make a living for his wife and himself now.
He might not even discover his talent as a piano tuner.

Then, this morning, B called.
We thought B was A by mistake due to the poor road directions and all.
Then B called and say that he might want to come another day despite the taxi meter rising.
B even ask if it is convinient to pick him up nearby.
For the sake of safetyness, we said sorry and we cant.
and B suddenly hung up the phone.
That point, we were curious and also furious.

Suddenly, the door bell rang.
We saw a taxi driver asking if its the correct address.
We nodded and the taxi driver opened the passenger seat door and we saw B.
That moment, we felt terribly sorry for what and how we've reacted before this.

Sorry ):
